So what have we LEarned!
I have had my eyes opened on so many levels it is unbelieveable.
Hans has a unique ability to communicate what must be done to fix any problem, by going right to the source. He explains it from the anatomical structure of the horse, the exact muscles that must be stregthened and which ones must be stretched. There is nothing vague or left unexplained. The reasons why are very clear, and the how is equally as clear.
Never in all my years of  learning have I had such an instructor.
He is able to work with the inexperienced rider, the unprofessional rider  and the professional. His friendly personality and charm is easy to learn from and makes the rider at ease. Horses love him as he makes life better and easier for them and he does not threaten or scare even the most sensitive equine.
In the past two years my riding and teaching has improved exponentially. I could never go back to any other teacher.

Thank you Hans!

Cynthia is on her wonderful Polish Arab. She too has been riding a while and is working on gaining confidence and trust with her horse.

Ellen is riding a lovely Thoroughbred gelding and hopes to show well this summer at first level most likely. She has been riding a long time too and has been working with Hans for about a year.

Diana is the coach at HeronCrest and she has been working with Hans for the 2 years that he has been coming. Her mare is a Lanark county Warmblood but can do many cool things thanks to Hans's teachings. Diana and Aurora work on canter pirouettes, flying changes and piaffe.
